Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use elivance.eu, including people who use screen readers, keyboard only, zoom or other assistive technology.

Our target

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

We are not legally required to publish this statement. We do it because accessibility is part of good work.

Status

This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 level AA. The parts that do not yet conform are listed below.

What we do

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and aim to check new pages with automated tools and a keyboard test before release. Consent checkboxes are never pre-ticked.

  • Clear headings and page structure; text alternatives for images.
  • Full keyboard use, with a visible focus outline.
  • Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA.
  • The contact form has visible labels for every field.
  • The chat assistant can be opened and closed with the keyboard, and all its controls can be reached with the Tab key.
  • Text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content; the layout works on small screens.
  • No content flashes or moves without your control.

Known issues

  • The scheduling calendar is provided by Cal.com and loads only when you click "Show calendar". We do not control its accessibility. If you cannot use it, write to lidia@elivance.eu and we arrange a time by email.
  • On small screens, the chat button on the contact page has no name for screen readers.
  • If your browser is set to Finnish, the consent text in the chat is shown in Finnish but is not marked as Finnish, so a screen reader may read it with English pronunciation.
  • On small screens, the chat button shows "AI" but its name for voice control is "Ask Elli".
  • The "AI" tag on chat replies may be read out as just "AI" rather than "AI-generated reply". The assistant's first message and its title say that it is an AI assistant.

How we checked

Self-assessment on 21 October 2026: automated testing with axe-core of the home, contact, prices and payment, privacy, terms and one blog page and of the chat assistant, on desktop and mobile screen sizes; a manual keyboard test of every link and control on those pages; colour contrast calculation; and checks at 200% zoom and at 320 pixels width. We have not yet tested with a screen reader. We review this statement when we make major changes to the site and at least once a year.
